Box Truck by Marco Kruk

This art print by Marco Kruk is a compelling piece from his Trucks Series, a collection that explores the raw character of industrial vehicles.

The series focuses on the intriguing and often overlooked beauty of old, heavily used, and sometimes vandalized work trucks. Through detailed composition each piece captures the wear, damage, and history embedded in these machines, transforming them into powerful visual statements. The contrast between function and decay highlights themes of time, resilience, and the unintended artistry found in neglect.

About the artist:

Marco Kruk.

Marco is a Dutch artist born in a small town just outside Amsterdam. He spent his early years skating through the city’s streets, canals, and skateparks, where he developed a deep appreciation for the energy and creativity of the culture.

Inspired by the graffiti, skate scene, and lifestyle that surrounded him, Marco’s work combines bold visual language with a strong sense of character. His passion for cars and other motor vehicles has increasingly become a recurring theme in his later work.

His style is often described as illustrative and simplified, yet carefully considered. Behind the clean shapes and accessible imagery lies a thoughtful approach to composition, and detail.
